I want to design a game that will allow players to have a stable of fantasy characters fighting as gladiators. With each fight, they win a purse with which to feed, outfit, recruit, and train their fighters.
Sample fighters would be dwarven berzerkers, elf mages, undead warlocks and necromancers, heroic knights, and twisted and evil anti-knights.
Game play should be intuitive. Real-time multiplayer is a requirement, though how that works out is TBD. I have the core ruleset for how the fighting will be resolved using a variant of several popular tabletop miniatures games.
The game will not only need programming to handle the rules mechanics, it will also require graphics work on the characters and background. I estimate it should take between two and four weeks to complete.
