We are working on a prototype for a 2d strategy turn based game.
This game will be played on a hexagonal tiled map.
We need you to code an hexagonal tile engine for iphone/Ipad using cocos2d framework ([url removed, login to view])
The engine must be coded with the following goal:
We want huge map with a lot of tiles in it so we need the engine to be as light as possible.
It has to run smooth on Iphone 3gs and up, and on ipad 1 and up.
The engine will support up to 6 layers
Panning and zooming
The engine will support panning and zooming via touch
Precise touch selection
Precise touch selection of every single tile, both in iphone and ipad.
Weighted path finding
The engine will support weighted path finding, it has to be fast and reliable.
