I have an idea for a children's iPhone app that has a somewhat complicated part to it. I have broken out the complicated part, and want to try and get that working first. If that works, then we will build the game around it.
The basic idea-
1) Take a photo with iPhone camera
2) Remove the background from the image
3) Take the resulting object and turn it black
There would be some basic requirements for taking photos such as the background should be a sharp contrast in color to the object. I have attached several sample images.
I have also attached a wireframe for the prototype. No need to do any design on this, it is only for me to look at, it doesn't need to be pretty.
(Note: The wireframes show the background being removed automatically. I think it might work better to have the user trace around the image themselves, I am fine with that if it is a better way to build it, I am looking for guidance.)
