There are basically 2 ways to go about this: a. Server hosted wallets b. SPV based wallet a. The server based wallet solution is prone to security breach but has the advantage that you can add new cryptocurrency without the user requiring an update of the app. It actually requires more resources as you spend money securing the server and ensuring that users coins are never stolen. b. The SPV wallet is a more secure way to do things and has the advantage that users take more control in securing their cryptocurrency. The only disadvantage is that for every new coin, you would need to have users update their wallet. I can handle both approach.
