Goal: To create a Multiplayer, Cross-platform, Drag racing game.
The following criteria would need to be met.
-Server for hosting game
-Client for connecting to game
-SQL Connection (or alternative solution) for storing accounts + inventory (garage,cars,etc)
-Ability to join lobby and challenge other players
-Accept challenges and race players (drag racing)
-Menu/shop to buy cars
-In-game currency system
-In-game RL $ Currency system
The game will work as follows;
-New player starts game (loads client), Logs into an existing account or creates a new account.
-New player runs through a brief tutorial
-Player can see a list of their cars, they select which car they want to race with.
-They can use a 'Upgrade' screen to buy new upgrades for the cars.
-Player clicks 'Race' which takes them to the racing lobby, Racing lobby has a list of other players in the lobby
-The lobbys are split depending on the players 'Rating' or 'Speed' into different tiers/brackets
-You can challenge other players or they can challenge you.
-After accepting a challenge you can 'Bet' an amount of money,
-Other player can accept bet or increase or pink slip (bet car)
-Players then have a drag race, winning/losing will correspond to the bet/pink slip.
I'm looking for someone with experience creating multiplayer games, Should be able to support upto 200 players.
Preferably Unity + C# although im open to alternative solutions. Preferably someone with experience or knowledge on drag racing games. Can give access to similar games which use a similar type of platform. I also already have access to a drag racing template in unity if you would like to use it (Asset sells for $50 on unity)
This is a 1-time project which will require on-going support in future. (Updates, patches, etc)
