We’re an early stage ambitious startup looking to have a real impact in the lives of filmmakers. We're looking for a front-end developer to amend and improve elements of a working cross-platform social mobile application for Android and iOS using Flutter. If you are someone with a flawless attention to detail and the ability to implement this then keep reading.

The majority of the front end has already been built as well as the entirety of the back-end and RESTful API which interacts with the application server and database. What we need is the amendment and optimisation of certain components to ensure an efficient, flawless user experience. We have the majority of a modern UI in accordance to the app's design specifications and we want to improve and continue in this consistent manner.

The app's key features include a feed view, a profile view, and a messenger to name a few. Think of LinkedIn as an example.

- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

- Ensuring app UI is optimised for all devices.

- Building reusable code for future use.

- Optimising app pages for maximum speed and scalability.

- Maintaining brand consistency throughout development.

The right candidate for this opportunity must be able to implement push notifications, in-app purchases and asynchronous UI components, as well as common functionality typical of any modern social app. Experience developing video streaming centric apps is highly beneficial. Also native english speaking is essential and non negotiable.

This is an opportunity that could potentially lead to a long-term app maintenance contract, given the successful completion of the required app optimisation at this stage. Right now we’ve had everything up until this point built in less that 3 months so our estimation is that the rest of the requirements would take no longer than 1 month but obviously this is dependant upon your opinion of where we are at too once you see the app as well as your ability.
