My app has a coupon module that apparently doesn’t conform to Apple guideline 3.1.1. and I have been informed that I must make this feature in-active before September 15.
I need help to make the module conform or with an alternative.
The app is called SonicTonic and you can download it in the Appstore. To give you an idea of how it works, here is a free coupon code to download three “Tonics” [retail value round about $15] Keep, use and enjoy them – even if you don’t take the gig.
(To be redeemed before 30.08.2018.)
Instructions: Download the app here, go to theTonic Store section, and enter your code in the redeem box.
To be clear: A coupon module is already implemented but Apple says it must be removed. I need a solution to keep it or an alternative.
I got this from Apple:
"Guideline 3.1.1 - Business - Payments - In-App Purchase”
Your app unlocks or enables additional functionality with mechanisms such as promo codes, data transfer codes, license keys, augmented reality markers, or QR codes, which is not appropriate for the App Store.
To resolve this issue, please remove this feature from your app.”
