It is VERY obvious that apps are recording, constantly. Just try mentioning that you might consider buying something you'd never consider buying before, or ever. And wait for the ads to start popping up in your browser and YouTube.
I don't use my 'phone' as a phone. It's a device, a small computer. And I want the audio recording/spying feature, disabled.
Base project: App that disables the microphone. I'd prefer it to at least have a button to toggle on/off, located on the UI. I can't imagine it needs any options, or a menu? It should only request microphone permissions.
Bonus to the project: The app is able to show if another app tries to access the microphone. This will require file access obviously.
My programming is rusty, I believe you would disable the microphone, then set mic STDIN to I guess a file? Then the app would read any new files, being introduced into a watched directory? That sounds clumsy, should be something easier? I would like for it to keep track, via those files, or a simple db, of all accesses.
I'm looking for someone that knows how to do this, not someone that "will learn how to" as they go along. I cannot pay for your time to learn on this occasion. I usually do not mind, but this is a small budget this occasion.
I will not use this app commercially, only privately.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to working with you.
Edit: Please don't expect me to reply to automated messages, or anything greatly over what you would pay for an app in the app store. Yes I understand those are sold thousands of times to make an income... but if you can't write this in an hour, you shouldn't offer.
