I need an Android app. I would like it designed and built.
we need a great React Native designer to put it all together for use on iOS and Android.
The basic premise of the app is that of a camera.
• The first key functionality is that the shutter sound is a bird call - some form of “kakahhh” squawk type sound. Also the shutter closing should look like a pigeon eye.
• The second piece of functionality is that during video filming there is a constant pigeon cooing sound, that is imprinted on the file. This is a sound that is diegetic - as it will actually come from the phone, but even if the phone sound is silenced, it will be imprinted onto the video file.
• The final key point is that particular still photographs taken with the app are imprinted by a giant cartoon pigeon in the foreground, with a heavy vignette, making the original subject of the photo blurry and mostly unintelligible. We want this to happen at random, so that the user doesn’t know which photo will be photobombed, at a rate of approximately one in seven photos. It’s also important that this happens after (or during) the photo is taken rather than it being clearly visible to the user before the photo is taken, so that it is a surprise.
In terms of skins and functionality for the app, the open application is to be full screen with a thin border at the top and bottom of the devices screen, with a shutter button at the bottom alike to the stock camera app. Opening the app should go directly to the main camera point and shoot still photo mode.
In terms of colours for the borders, a dark grey semi-translucent colour is required, in order to keep the styling relatively bland and akin to a stock camera. The main stylistic difference will be the shutter button appearing as a pigeon head. The landing screen will default to still photo mode, where the pigeon’s profile will be facing left. To switch to video mode, the user can swipe the shutter button right, where the pigeons head will change direction in order to signify video mode. Photos should save directly to where the stock camera saves (DCIM folder or Camera Roll.)
Basic effects for the camera should also be available, (activated by swiping across the camera vision area, alike to adding filters on other notable photo apps) These effects will also affect the look of the photobombing pigeon, like black & white, sepia and a pixelated 8-bit style filter.
Lastly, an upload/share photo button which looks like a homing pigeon in flight or a pigeon with a scroll should be placed somewhere within the app which would allow images to be shared to socials such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
We will supply content such as the app button images, other buttons within the app itself (shutter, share etc.), the photobomb pigeon, all sound files that will imprint onto photos/videos/shutters.
