React Native - Read NFC chip passport/id/drivers-license information

Hello,

I am building a prototype for a financial onboarding application.

For this I would like a React Native app (CLI) which can read the data off a (European) passport/id/drivers-license NFC chip.

It should work on both iOS and Android without internet or a 3rd party licensed product.

The UI can be very basic, it only needs to output the information on the chip such as the picture, name, gender, nationality, etc, etc.
