We are a local non-profit Regional 911 Emergency Medical System Council. Federal 501 (c)(3) organization. We have treatment guidelines for providers to use on their phones (Android & iPhone). Currently that app uses pdf files to open the guidelines.
We are looking for a more functional interface that is easy to ready and very easy to navigate. We would like to add a few features to our app that we currently do not have. We need the app to run without internet connectivity. We need the app to look similar to how we have it now but no longer as a pdf file so we can add links within pages and allow calculations within certain guidelines or protocols.
Weight based calculations for all medications. Have it calculate exact medication calculations for patients based on their weight and using our local approved medication dosages.
Pound to Kilogram conversion and vice versa.
Make the app searchable so you can quickly find the guideline you need.
Add GPS function that you can click on which hospital you are transporting to and it will give you turn by turn directions to that hospital from your current location.
You may download our current guidelines through the Android or iTunes store by searching for "TJEMS". Formatting of the guidelines we would want to remain the same due to familiarity of them by providers but on pediatric protocols or any protocols requiring weight based medications adding weight based calculation or a link to that page to open and feature to always take you back one page. Easy to locate main screen button, and easy to find links to medication indications/contraindications within guidelines.
