Brief: AR firefighting game - Proof of concept
As part of a larger proposal, I would like to present a small iOS game to a client that demonstrates the capabilities of Augmented Reality.
This project aims to build a very simple, fully functional, firefighting AR game prototype for iOS.
Before opening the game, the user will place a physical page with a pattern/marker printed on it 2-4 meters away from the user.
After tapping on the game’s icon in the home screen, the game displays the video feed of the front facing camera and the software would replace the prepositioned pattern with a 3D animated fire (achieved via an engine like Unity3D or Unreal).
Whenever the user taps on the fire, an extinguisher appears and sprays to try to extinguish the fire (this is animated and therefore also achieved via an engine like Unity3D or Unreal). If the extinguisher sprays the fire, the fire turns to white smoke and disappears.
Once the fire is extinguished, a “retry” button will appear reloading the fire in place of the marker so the user can play again.
Please see the attached file to see how this would work.
Don’t hesitate to get back to me if you have any questions.
