We have a very active VPS server running custom PHP scripts that use MySQL fairly heavily.
During normal operation, server handles a large volume of requests quite fine; however at seemingly random times apache starts to spawn processes to handle incoming requests but the requests are very slow to process. As additional requests come in, these stack up further and ultimately make apache unresponsive. After several minutes scripts complete processing and apache resumes operation. Note that many of these are very lightweight scripts - and these same scripts/similar request conditions do not seem to result in this "stacking up" of Apache processes at other times of the day.
Looking for someone to diagnose the cause of the "stacking up" of apache processes and consult on apache/mysql tuning or other means to help eliminate this issue.

yes ping me I can troubleshoot your issue or the root access is required for the service of Apache to restart or for log if you provide the above for other user then root access is not required.
