I'm a litterature/philosophy student from Switzerland.
I started doing a SQL Database for knowledge management in academic writing. I understand now that what I have in mind is far too complicated for my very basic skills.
Basically its a bibliography-table and a citations-table where every citation is linked to a bibliography entry (1 Book, n citations). Each citation then needs to be able to host keywords, categories, groups and some other informations that I'm able to enter in separate tables.
These keywords/categories/etc. should also be adjustable --> i can change keywords, categories and so on in a citation entry after having created it for the first time
In the end i need forms where I can search for content in the citation itself, for keywords, for categories, for groups or for a mixture of those.
As I understand the matter at hand, it should be doable in some hours by someone who knows what he is doing :)...
I can draw and send mindmaps with the logical organisation of the whole thing.
