MAX. SENSOR COVERAGE - RANDOM DISPLACEMENT UPON OVERLAP

This is a C#, Windows Form Application Project

The user provides the following inputs: Sensor Area (Width & Height); Grid Area (Width & Height); Sensor Size (Radius); Number of Static Sensors; Number of Mobile Sensors

Upon entering these fields, the user will deploy the sensors on the sensor field.

In the sensor field, when there is an overlap between sensors (Mobile with static or mobile with mobile), the mobile sensors will move to a new location.

The relocation of the overlapping sensor can be random in any direction provided that there are no sensor overlap in the new location and the relocation cannot be more than 8 grids of the initial location, omnidirectionally.

The initial location of each of the relocated sensors must be visible in a dotted outer line circle.

The Output Form must contain the following:

Total Area of the Sensor Field; Coverage Area; Non-Coverage Area; Overlap Area; Gain Factor calculated by {[(Coverage Area - Initial Coverage Area)/Coverage Area] * 100}

The initial inputs provided by the user must also be displayed in the output form.

The output form must also have an option where the user can move one overlapping sensor at a time till there are no overlaps, OR can move all the overlapped sensors at once so that there are no overlaps.

Once the relocation of all the overlapped sensors are completed, the user must get a promt 'No Overlap in the Sensor Coverage'.

P.S: Please find attached a screen shot of a sample of the sensor area with static sensors in red and mobile sensors in green.

More data will be provided as and when required.
