There is an Open Source project called Fat Free CRM ([url removed, login to view]) which we would like to port to ASP.NET MVC.
It's a one-to-one conversion, most of the controllers should port directly. The project already has a database which you can reuse as well as well defined html and css. So it should look exactly the same. We would like to keep the database in MySQL.
Although there is no direct mechanism in MVC, we would really like all the current AJAX actions to be ported across as well.
This should make it easier as well. Instead of porting all of the Ruby membership code (for creating the logins etc) you should use the built in MySQL membership provider for .NET
