We have a .NET game (in VB) that has a database with a list of locations around the world, we would like to build a graphical mapping interface that places these geographical locations on a map, and then the player can click on one of these locations to travel to it (depending on if it's a plane or a car, the cost and time should vary accordingly).
The database is already built with a list of locations, we just need this graphical interface built (basically it should look like Google Maps), you can use the Google Maps API however we require the ability to overlay a fictional planet or world instead of Earth. The game has about 30 worlds, each with around 10 cities, so about 300-500 cities in total.
Hi Please have a look on this link http://www.wiredblogs.com/home.aspx If you need something like this We can put markers or popups on google maps. Please share your thoughts. Thanks Mahesh
