Offline Library Database

We are a dutch company which develops RFid-based library solutions for public libraries. One of our solutions is a selfservice desk, which is equipped with an RFid reader and our selfservice software. This selfservice desk enables library customers to checkout and checkin library books. The selfservice software controls different hardware (printer,screen,etc.) and establishes a connection with the library management system. The library management system is a database system which stores all the items, customers, checkouts, checkins, etc. of the library. When the connection to the library management system is lost, e.g. by network failure, all the checkin and checkout transactions at our selfservice desk should be conducted in an offline mode. This means that all the information for a transaction should be stored locally in a file. Later when the connection to the database is re-established, these files should be collected and processed into the database. We are looking for a .Net C# developer who can program the offline database module, which can be incorporated in our software, and a program to retrieve the offline files of multiple selfservice desks and process them in the library management system. The offline database module should implement a C# interface used by our software. For processing the files into the database, our database connection dll should be used. More detailed information will be provided, once the project is accepted.
