I had installed the QNAP VPN App on our TVS-471 NAS and it was working fine to allow staff to access office network resources when away from the office via IPSec VPN.
However, after updating the VPN App and QNAP Firmware, I can access every IP address on the office network via the VPN EXCEPT the NAS itself ([url removed, login to view])! I haven't changed any settings whatsoever.
If anyone can help, I would be extremely grateful.
I have discovered that I can access the NAS over the VPN at the address 192.168.0.1. However, I need to be able to access it at 192.168.1.200 over the VPN (its IP address on the LAN). I was able to do this before the Firmware/App upgrade. I fear somehow QNAP has removed the NAT loopback for the LAN IP. Is it possible to manually 'hack' the NAS to put back the NAT loopback for the LAN IP?

Hello, We can help you fix the access issue to the NAS after the Firmware upgrade. Have you checked the firewall rules ? Is there a backup of the NAS before the upgrade? Thanks --- Jay
