Delta alerts sound simple on paper but the real-time part is where most people get it wrong — if you build it off OnBarUpdate you'll get triggers only on bar updates or closes depending on your calculation mode, not the instant delta crosses 450. I'd hook into OnMarketData directly so it reacts tick by tick, with a fired/reset flag per bar so you don't get spammed every tick after it crosses. Worked with cumulative delta and volumetric bars on NT8 before, so the logic itself isn't the hard part Are you running Rithmic/CQG with the volumetric data feed, or just standard ticks? Changes whether I pull delta from NT8's built-in series or build it manually either way works, just want to scope it right before quoting final.
