Full-Stack Developer for an Interactive, Map-based Travel Platform
Budget $8-15 USD / hour
We are looking for a full-stack developer or team to work on an upcoming project. The selected freelancer will have to work with remote team members and must be capable of fulfilling the entire full-stack development for the project with minimal supervision. The candidate must be able to work with detailed project specifications and communicate when unclear of a specification.
The workday schedule does not matter as long as we can communicate via ZOOM a few times during the week. We are located in the CST time zone

Start date: Within 1 week (negotiable)
Remuneration:
INR 73,138 / per month
PKR 153,000 / per month
USD 1,000 / per month
This is a contract job for a period of 3 months. We have ongoing assignments for Phase II and III of this project for the right candidate and even a permanent position can be offered upon successful completion depending on the candidates' performance.
Job description for a full-stack developer:
The job will be working with team members in an agile team environment developing an interactive, map-based travel planning platform.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the below:
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer
- 3 years of Node.JS and React experience
- Proficient in backend development using NodeJS and MongoDB
- GeoJSON experience is a PLUS
- Experience in working with JavaScript frameworks and third-party libraries
- Strong experience working in Node.JS and APIs
- Knowledge of working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Knowledge of working with SQL databases such as MySQL, Postgress, or Oracle
- An understanding of graph databases e.g. Neo4J, Amazon Neptune, etc.
- Good experience using Docker containers
- Good understanding of micro-services, GraphQL, and serverless architecture
- Knowledge and Experience using CI/CD
- Experienced in deploying apps in a cloud environment e.g. Google, AWS, or Digital Ocean
- Experience in planning and execution of time-barred assignments
- Good communication skills
- Ability to self-train
