We are looking for an iPad app developer with experience of syncing with salesforce.com. We are a property developers in Melbourne Australia and are looking for a smarter way to deal with defect inspections by our clients. We have built a back end in [url removed, login to view] using standard object Cases and a new custom object Defects. Basically we want our agent to complete a form on the iPad when they conduct the inspection with the client. This form will contain standard fields such as client name and phone number which will make up the case. Each individual defect will have 3 specific peices of information. They are Defect Location (Picklist), Defect Item (Free Text) and Defect Description (Free Text). Each defect will be related to the overall case. The app must also have the ability to take a photo of the defect and attach it to the defect record. This will give our builders a full view of the defect in the property. The property can have an unlimited amount of defects so the app needs to have the option of adding a new defect each time. When finally submitted after the inspection a new case will be created in Salesforce with all the defects related to the case. A PDF will also be created and prited out by the agen for the client to sign. This PDF will also be added to the case as an attachment. I have attached a flow chart to show how we would envisage the process. I believe the work is done in Objective C.
