Steps to complete this project: Mark the steps as checked when you complete them. Open the [login to view URL] start file. If the document opens in Protected View, click the Enable Editing button so you can modify it. The file will be renamed automatically to include your name. Change the project file name if directed to do so by your instructor, and save it. Review and delete selected comments and tracked changes. Change the Display for Review view to All Markup. Read the comment at top of the document and then delete the comment. Find the first tracked change in the document (left, right, and top margin changed) and Reject Format Change. Review the changes in the document and then Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking. NOTE: If group titles are not visible on your Ribbon in Word for Mac, click the Word menu and select Preferences to open the Word Preferences dialog box. Click the View button and check the Show group titles check box under Ribbon. Close the Word Preferences dialog box. Apply styles to the title and headings. Apply the Heading 1 style to the title on the first page. Apply the Heading 2 style to all the bold headings. Apply the Heading 3 style to all the underlined headings. Insert footnotes and apply text formatting. On the first page, insert a footnote after "Weekly Schedules" in the "Schedule Your Time" section. Type You can obtain Weekly Schedules at the counseling center or in the bookstore. as the footnote text. Insert a footnote at the end of "Be sure to schedule your time for all these in your 119 hours." (after the period) in the "Schedule Your Time" section. Type Make sure to include self-care and time off in your 119 hour schedule. as the footnote text. Move a footnote and modify footnote number format. Select the first footnote reference marker (in the body) and move it so it appears after “Weekly Schedule” in the “Track Your Time” section (use drag and drop or cut and paste). Deselect the moved footnote and change the footnote number format to i, ii, iii. Insert placeholders in the body of the document. NOTE: If you receive a message that says: "You do not have the bibliography style that is currently being used in this document. Completing this action will reformat the bibliography and citations to your default bibliography style. Do you want to continue?" Click Yes in the message box. In the “Introduction” section on the first page, insert a new placeholder named Tankian at the end of the body paragraph (and before the period). In the “Test Anxiety” section on the second page, insert a new placeholder named Eastern at the end of the body paragraph (and before the period). In the “Goal Setting” section on the fourth page, insert the Tankian placeholder (not a new placeholder) at the end of the intro paragraph (and before the period). Use the Citations Source Manager to update placeholder reference information. Open the Citation Source Manager and edit the Tankian placeholder to include the following information. Check the Show All Bibliography Fields box if necessary. NOTE: Select the settings button at the bottom right of the Citations task pane to open the Citation Source Manager. Type of Source: Book Author: Sergio S. Tankian Title: How to Study: A Guide for College Students Year: 2020 City: New York Publisher: McGraw-Hill Edit the Eastern placeholder to include the following information. Type of Source: Document from Web site Corporate Author: Eastern Atlantic Community College District Name of Web Page: Tips and Tricks for College Success Name of Web Site: [login to view URL] Year: 2019 Year Accessed: 2021 Month Accessed: May Day Accessed: 15 URL: [login to view URL] Change bibliography style and insert a works cited page. Change the bibliography style to MLA. Place your insertion point on the blank line at the end of the document and insert a page break. Insert a Works Cited page. Insert a table of contents. Place your insertion point at the beginning of the document and insert a page break. Type Tips for Student Success on the first line on the new first page (before the page break) and press Enter. On the blank line below "Tips for Student Success," insert the Automatic Table of Contents in Classic style. Apply the Title style to “Tips for Student Success” on the new first page. Insert a footer and add custom content. Edit the footer on the first page of the document (table of contents). Check the Different Odd & Even Pages box. The insertion point displays in the odd page footer. Insert Page Number and set Alignment to Inside. Press Tab two times and insert the Document Title (or Title) document property field. Go to the even page footer and verify that Page Number is showing. Insert the Company document property field on the left margin of the footer. Change the font size to 12 pt and apply italic formatting to all footer content in both the even and odd page footers. Close the footer. Insert and customize a cover page. Insert the Ion (Light) cover page. Delete the Subtitle (“Document subtitle”) and Year (“Year”) document property fields. Change the font size of the title on the cover page to 28 pt and apply bold formatting. Insert a page break before the “Physical Signs of Test Anxiety” heading. Update the entire table of contents and save your document. Save and close the document (Figure 3-132).
