OpenGL, Java
Budget €8-30 EUR
Job Description:
Programs must be submitted as JAR files containing all source files (Java, shaders, textures) and the compiled class files. Missing source files do not allow an evaluation and the entire project counts as not submitted!
The JAR will/need not be executable by itself since the lwjgl library is not to be packaged.
Precise delivery modalities are demonstrated in the exercise.
Your program must contain the following functions for the best grade:
Two differently shaped, full-dimensional 3D objects (also in several versions)
At least one object must have been created using entered coordinates
At least one object must either be created programmatically or read from a file (search for tutorial independently, file must be included in the project!)
Use of transformations (translate, rotate, scale) for simple animations of all objects (e.g. continuous transformation)
At least one object should move hierarchically within the local coordinate system of another object (as in the slide example "Moon revolves around Earth revolves around the sun")
Different textures in different resolutions and with different filters (image files included in the project!)
Special features of mipmapping recognizable
Over/undersampling recognizable
Bilinear Filters vs. Unfiltered
Two different vertex and fragment shaders in the scene
Phong shading
Texturing with image file
Possibility of interaction via keyboard or mouse (research independently, gives a bonus point!)
Bonus points are conceivable for solutions that go significantly beyond this.
