You must live in Europe, Russia, or South America.
In your bid comments please include your *monthly salary requirement* in US dollars for working 200 hours per month. In other words, please state something like, "I bid X US dollars for working 200 hours per month."
We are currently looking for a very clever, full-time software developer (not just a coder) to work with us for at least a year but hopefully longer. We have many challenging new development projects that we need help with (no maintenance).
We use Linux and MySQL. Although our servers run on Slackware (Linux) you may develop your software on Linux or Windows.
* Be available to work 10 hours each weekday (you may choose the hours you work).
* Have strong experience with object oriented programming.
* Have strong experience with relational databases.
* Currently have a *reliable* high speed Internet connection (DSL, Cable, T-1, etc).
To build up credibility with you, initially each day after you have worked 10 hours we will pay you via GetAFreelancer. We will *not* use escrow. In other words, we will pay quickly and in a manner so that you will take very little risk.
Please assume you will essentially be paid in "cash." Of course we will not hand this cash to you. You will withdraw it from a local ATM machine. However, we will reimburse you for the fees you are charged for receiving cash including fees that GetAFreelancer charges and any fees your bank charges you as well.
This is a full-time job, but we will pay you hourly. That means we will not provide you with any additional benefits whatsoever. We will not provide you with paid holidays nor paid sick days. We will not pay for your high speed internet connection nor your electrical costs nor any problems you might have with your computer. In other words, we won't pay you for anything except for the number of hours you actually work.
Of course you will likely get sick or take vacations. Then what happens? Let's take an example. If you take a vacation for 2 weeks and only work 100 hours during that month then we will only pay you for 100 hours that month.
However, if one month you work 250 hours then we'd pay you for 250 hours.
