We need a script written for our customer support department which would collect a customer's ID # entered by the customer via their keypad and then retrieve and display certain information about that customer contained in our existing database.
We can handle the display, but need the script written to do the following:
Our auto attendant answers the call and the Customer is prompted to enter their user ID using their phone keypad.
That ID number is then passed to us to retrieve that customer information from our database
The prompting and entering of the customers ID should not change the status of the call ie. The customer should remain in the holding queue until the next customer service representative is available
Interfacing with Trixbox HUD would also be helpful
