Salesforce Project Calendar

I have created an App in Salesforce and one of the objects lists projects. In the list view of this object I want to be able to click a checkbox of that project record and then click a button that opens a window auto fills fields like date, project name etc.. from that selected record. In this window I would like to see a drop down so I can select one of many calendars created for different regions. And add that project to a calendar by day and/or month that is on that record.
