You will be working with us onsite at one of the world's leading tech companies. The Compositor role uses Photoshop and Nuke to retouch CG renders and combine Maya/Vray render elements into beautiful, pixel-perfect product images which realize the creative direction of our lead artists and the vision of our client's Art Directors. The compositing team is ultimately responsible for the technical and aesthetic quality and integrity of every delivered image.
Retouch and composite product images using Photoshop.
Communicate effectively with creative leads/lighting team to determine best approach to achieve the desired goal.
Work with your Compositing Lead to evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots.
Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process.
Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned products to create uniformity in all finished work.
Basic use of Nuke to advance the image from lighting.
Minimum of 3 years of digital product / device compositing experience.
Must have a high level of expertise in Photoshop including a solid understanding of the technical side of complex layer structures and effects
Ideal candidate has a strong sense of color and design, and an ability to see and create subtle nuance.
A deep understanding of how light interacts with various materials (e.g., glass, bead-blasted aluminum, polished stainless steel, rubber, woven cloth, etc.).
Strong fine arts foundation skills such as photorealistic illustration/painting, photography and photographic lighting.
Excellent knowledge of digital file management and server
Excellent organization skills to create assets in a manner that is accessed and easily modified by others

Comfortable working in a MacOS environment
Working knowledge of multi-pass CG compositing in Nuke is a plus.
