Estimating Website

I run a business where I am a project estimator and I need a simple website to allow me to distribute these estimates along with associated files to my clients. I need the ability for my clients to log into this section of my website, navigate through the projects, and download files. In turn, I need the ability to add projects, upload them, and organize the projects on the fly. I want the website to use Ajax/PHP, as its simple for all windows based people to use. It MUST be simple and easy, over complicated features and hard to navigate pages will scare clients away from using my services. PAGE 1 - The first page needs to show a BIG calendar with the days within the month. I only need M-F days shown, but if you can show all 7 and not have it over bearing that is fine. I do not need time slots per day, only day. I need the ability to have projects listed on different days (box or button with project name on it), and the ability for several projects per day (never to exceed 5 per day). Project must be highly visible, and the ability for the admin to drag and drop the project from 1 day to another if the bid day changes. Outlook’s calendar feature is a perfect example of the look and detail I am after. The project names need to be clickable, which will take them to page 2. Would be nice to have calendar have the ability to go forward and backwards at least a month, so projects can be laid out into the future, or when you’re at the end of the month. On the side of the calendar I would like to have a notes box listing latest news, updates, or attentions. This is something only the admin can add/change, and the notes will be linked to a specific project if clicked. Perhaps something on the side for account profile, or whatever to have the ability for the client to change passwords, etc. Page 2 – The second page will be the dynamic result of clicking on a project. The top will list the project name, below it have a few bits of information on the job, location, bid date, contact information, project budget, etc. Maybe 5-10 fields of information, or a bigger text box to be able to write out information pertaining to that project. (text file inside file director directly loaded into view box?) Below this would be a box with all the associated files for this job, these would include mostly PDF files, along with an Excel file and/or a DOC file. Big plus if these PDF and/or Excel files can be viewed without downloading, but also have the ability to download. Another big plus to have these files organized in a small tree view (only pertaining to selected project) that would break down into folders like drawings, specs, take-off, etc. This could be actual file directories on the server. Would like the ability for the admin to drag and drop files from desktop to project folder and have it automatically upload to that location. Page 3 – Something to list all archived projects of the past. Perhaps the ability to delete the project so when they are old and just taking up room. Overall the website needs to be clean and simple, that is the most important aspect of this job. It doesn’t need to have a database backend, but can if needed (mysql). The directory structure can be physically on the website if want/needed. It needs to run on a Linux based machine without root access. I can provide you with a PHP dump if you need to know the configuration. This is a typical hosting site that hold the website, cannot have a complicated back end. Time is of the essence on this project, I can use this the minute that it is finished. When bidding on this project consider time with the amount, as I will be looking at cost vs time. Thank you!
