This project will require a fundamental understanding of how casual games made for Facebook are structured and deployed. Your guidance on how to implement the concept will be vital to the successful completion of this project.
I am interested in designing a strategic game which follows a structure similar to that of the wildly popular PC game, "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego". But instead of the user acting in the capacity of a detective who is trying to track down and arrest a criminal, the user will be a journalist who is trying the track down people for story leads, which will eventually allow the user to "break the story". I am looking to incorporate the structure and functionality of Facebook's social networking system into the game.
Given that i am not a programmer and thus I am not familiar with the languages, your guidance in laying out which coding frameworks and which languages are best used for this type of application will be important. Graphics capability are less important here. It will be a game that depends more on text and content than it does on animation and graphical slickness.
If you are familiar with the old PC game and understand/have experience in building FB application games, then you should be able to tackle this project.
