We are using Magento 1.7.0.2 with a template that has an Ajax add to cart. We also are using Lesti FPC full page caching. You can find out more about that here: [login to view URL] and here [login to view URL] With Lesti FPC in the settings we can say which blocks are dynamic or lazy blocks so that they don't get cached but whatever we try and enter in there the mini cart is always cached so it does not update correctly. To view the problem: 1. Go here - [login to view URL] and add the item to your cart. You will see the mini cart is updated. 2. Now click to the home page and probably the mini cart says 0 items. Or if you then add another product to the cart and browse the store you will see sometimes the mini-cart is correct and other times it shows a cached version.
