I use my iphone to upload images to ftp. I'd like a script that I can embed online (php or html) that will pull the images from the ftp location and display them in a slideshow. The images would be in order with the newest image first, and since there is no way for the script to know the image names, it would I assume be looking for the newest images according to upload date / time. The slideshow would be
the images would be displayed in a slideshow as I said, but if one of the images is clicked, it would then go open a page with all the images, thumbnailed at 120 x 120, five images across and up to 20 rows deep before it moves on to page 2 of the images (if needed, page 3, 4, 5 etc)
so the script when pulling the images would need to thumbnail them as well.
you would write a script that shows the slideshow (jquery?) and each image would have a 3 second pause before it moves to image 2, 3, 4 etc all through the most recent 25 images before looping back to image # 1. if any of these are clicked, it shows the full page of thumbs, with the newest thumb in the top left corner, second newest beside it on the right side etc until row 2 is needed, all the way down to 20 rows (100 images) and then navigation would be used to show page 2, 3 etc.
the images in thumbnail form when clicked, would not open a unique php page, but rather lightbox or something simular.
this would be very simular to many file sharing services systems, the main difference being I'd like to be able to host this myself.
