I am using a script that used to email but then quit.
The script hasn't been changed, so I don't know why.
I am able to send out email from scripts like Zen, and programs
The problem with one script, Zen, is that for awhile, it wouldn't send out either. I had to set it up with scriptauth, which they allow in their configuration.
The script I am using only has 3 files, [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]
and sendpassword.php. It may have more, I just haven't found them yet.
I was thinking that an easier way out would be to change the email portion of the program so that instead of emailing through the php script, it would coordinate itself with Outlook, OR, specify the TYPE of MAIL TRANSPORT, and then the USERNAME AND PASSWORD of the SMTP server. I think that is all that's necessary is to write the type of mail transport into the script, and INCLUDE SMTPAUTH as a requirement to send out email.
