I need a command line program that would be working on a linux box and can send instant messages using Yahoo Messenger.
The program must load settings from an external .conf file, settings like the bot's Yahoo username, password and status message.
I need the program to be started as a service when the server is started and when called from the command line to send an instant message to a Yahoo user.
There will be 2 parts.
The "server" part which is permanently connected to Yahoo.
The "client" part which calls the "server" to send the message to the user.
./ymclient <yahoo_id> <message>
See attachment for sample .conf file.
This is a simple project for somebody who knows C and libyahoo2.
