I have an installer that was created with Nullsoft. I need some simple modifications made to the installer.
The software to be installed only consists of a few files, 2 or 3 files. Currently the installer asks for one installation folder and install everything into one folder. I want the installer to now ask for two folders and to install the program file in one folder and the data file in the other folder.
Both installation folders should default to specific folders. I want to install my software into the same folders as an existing IBM product which is already installed on the users PC. So the installer will need to search for the previously installed IBM software. I'm not sure exactly how this will work but the installer will probably need to search the Windows registry to get the folders. I will send you a link so that you can install a demo of the IBM software in your computer and then work out what the registry entries are.
