We need a coder long term to develop an online game. This game is not highly graphical, but functions in a way similar to Uplink ([url removed, login to view]) It is basically an advanced online version of this, with a console (E.G dos/unix), and it's own scripting language.
It will be using a client / server model, where the server must be able to support at least 100 clients, and manage them properly, kill off dead connections, etc.
Coder will recieve 50% of all project royalties through the life of the project. This is why the initial bid is not as important, long term will be *much* more beneficial. This offer is backed by Terminal Zero ([url removed, login to view]), Please contact them if you would like confirmation. We have already had large interest in this project, and have many beta testers waiting. We already have music, and graphics, being developed.
**While working on the project, you must be able to...**
- Communicate well in English
- Come onto our forums now and then to interact with the beta testers. - Feel free to ask questions. - When bidding, please state what programming language you intend to use. - Please only bid if you are an experienced and dedicated coder.
The website is at [url removed, login to view]
We already have a single player version of this game being developer, however we realize the potential of an online version.
The project is called Dark Signs Online.
All needed details will be given upon acceptance of project.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4) Unlimited Support and dedication for life of the project.
