Can anyone help. I need code/system which will allow scanned images to be sequentially numbered (That is every time another image is scanned the script will check the last or highest image number and then add the current scan on to this)etc etc etc. The root to the directory containing the sequentially numbered images I need to have in a databse. The theory behind this is so that the end user can run a query on the database to find the image number that he is looking for. Hence a user form needs to be set up which will allow for the search of the DB for the required image and then there must be a viewer available to open up the image in order that it can be viewed. The project if implemented will be used by one of the largest blue chip multinational organisations specialising in logistics. The scanned images are really proof of delivery notes and so the delivery note number really needs to be appended to the image or best of all actually be the image name. This means that the DB can be queried more easily because we work with delivery note ref numbers. The finished product will either be placed on the local server for employee access or on the company's intranet. The html coding is not the issue here however, the background system is! If anyone has any idea of what our requirements are and how to satisfy them then please reply. Strictly no time wasters please. Thanks
