====================================
We have a site running on Drupal D6. The site experiences intermittent loading issues, here are more details:
Web Server:
Server OS: FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE-p1
Web Server Version: Apache/2.2.11 (Unix)
PHP : 5.2.12
APC
Database Server:
Server OS: Linux
DB: Mysql 5.0.45
Typically the load on the web server averages 2, however every now and then it spikes to 25 and when this happens the site loading decreases to 15sec, which typically is about 5sec. The database server at the same time has average load of 1, no swapping, here is the status:
Threads: 9 Questions: 506853788 Slow queries: 51430 Opens: 32926 Flush tables: 1 Open tables: 2072 Queries per second avg: 175.509
There are slow mysql queries on database server which look like and take 6-10sec to complete.

What we need is somebody who has experience optimizing Drupal (Coding/Development) to fix this problem. So the loading time on the site can be stable.
I have installed and configured CMS software since 1986.
My expertise includes Linux, MySQL and programming in C and PHP (I program fluently in 7 languages, including Perl)
A position I held for years was Data Transformation and Database Effeciency expert. I would help IBM increase the speed and decrease the load of their Data Warehouse to DB2 queries surrounding their package delivery system.
I would tell you why I am sure I can do this job but that might just be enough data for you to do it yourself and I am allergic to working hard and not eating well.
I will complete the task before the escrow is released, of course.
I am very free for the next 8 days so if time if of the essence, accept my bid, backup up everything!, send me the login data for the server and I will email you Sunday to go over the performance improvements and the reasons why.
Sincerely,
Alan Helmick
p.s. I installed Drupal approx 7 times professionally but have 100's of times experience with database efficiency.
We are able to solve the Loading problem, but we have need to phpmyadmin access as well as code, so please provide me details asap, so we will start work on it, and make the site run smoothly.
Waiting for the positive reply.
