486463 CRM Project/Business Automation

ESI Electrical are a small electrical contractors based in the South East of England. We have noticed a lot of our business processes involve data entry of the same information upto 7 times. We would like to develop a crm system with a few key enhancements designed for our industry. Automating as much of our information as possible, with a single point of reference will give us the competitive edge. The service side of our industry is based on engineer visits every 1,3,6,12,24 months, so we need to be able to query reports as to clients due engineer visits for different services, and run reminder letters merged from crm data at the tough of a button. Key areas to our crm system will be as follows: 1) CRM system - Client Info Screen, Notes Screen, Survey Screen, 2) Correspondence Screen providing merge out of data from contact to templated documents into microsoft word or google docs. Also provides a single point of reference for all documents for the client, both produced from the system and attached/linked to from existing files 3) PAT Testing Report Production module We have an existing access database that uses information from our engineers palmtop computers, to populate templated excel and word documents, we want to improve this and build it into the new database 4) Work Reporting Using data in the survey field of the CRM, we require a feature to provide a master report of 'service visits due' for each of our service areas. We also require the ability to produce a reminder letter run, at the touch of a button, merging out the letters for 'services due' to word documents or PDF documents. You will need to email me for another raw data file, to see how the access database runs. There is also a copy of the Access Database output file, so you can see the end result. We run a windows 2003 sbs server, with SQL server and IIS6 in house. Solution can be web-based, access based or a mix of the two. Any questions please feel free to ask.
