Sticky drop-down fields in form

I have a simple form containing two drop down fields, one supplied two variables which are later split. The form automatically submits using an onchange function which then calculates an answer. The problem is I would like the drop down fields to stick on the selected value after the form is submitted and allow for one of the two fields to then be changed again so that it will create a new result. I know this is pretty simple for someone who knows what they are doing, but I don't have time to get the code to work. I have attached the php file below, obviously the images will not load but the form will still work. Thank you for your help. If I could get this done ASAP that would be great!
