Improving Learning Website

There is a version of the site at [url removed, login to view]

1. In Student view, display the Exercises and the teachers in alphabetical order.

2. In the Fill-the-Gap exercise, there is a routine which "fixes" the text into place once the filler is placed in the gap. I'd like the user to be able to move the filler to a different gap if wanted before "checking" the answer.

3. I'd like to have an alternate version of Fill-the-Gap where the student sees the gaps and enters text to fill the gap. The author specifies one or more words that can fill the gap. The authoring syntax is “This is a [gap/space] in the text.”

4. I am interested in generating exercises automatically from databases for the exercise types: Reorder, Categorise, Matching and Fill-the-Gap. There will be two levels for each: Beginner and Intermediate.

For example, a student goes to Business English and selects "Automatic" and “Matching” and "Intermediate". A db table of 3-word phrases is used to randomly generate a 3 column, 5-row Matching exercise. (Presently the teacher has to create all the exercises manually -- see attached jpeg file.) The exercise completion and score is tracked for students by generating names -- AutoMatch1, AutoMatch2, etc.

I am looking for bids towards the lower end of the range.
