In its simplest form can be considered a ‘black box’ algorithm in which data is imported and the resulting clusters determined and presented as a simple output, the following scope provides just enough visualisation and user interface design to increase the overall user experience.
The core application:
-SOPHE will be a stand-alone desktop-based proof of concept.
-The SOPHE algorithm will be supplied as a Java code block with documented APIs in order to parse data to and from the code block
-The application will comprise the user interface and the algorithm. The application must support execution on Windows and Mac OS X.
-The applictaion will be deployed using a simple installer. The user will run the installer and the application will be installed correctly, ready for execution.
-The application will import an industry standard FCS output file (Code / Pseudo Code to read the file format to be provided by NSi)
-The application will be single user, not networked. There will be no integration with any other application.
-There will be some demonstration limits built into the application, such as:
&#61485; Time limit (e.g. 14 days)
&#61485; Number of variables (e.g., a maximum of 10 variables)
&#61485; Number of analyses (e.g., can only import 1 file for analysis and then the application does not allow a second for further import)
-Two versions of the application will be developed. One with the above demonstration limits and one with out.
-The application will export a basic structured data table of the SOPHE results (structure to be provided by NSi or other organisation / person) as a CSV format.
-The application will export visualisations as JPG or similar.
