Web Login/DB/Account

This bid is for simple web site login. I already have the visual forms, and I need someone to do the backend code. You will be responsible for whatever code and database work you do as well as help with installation and getting the thing working. I would like this to run on a Unix/Linux Server, so I assume it will need to be written in JavaScrip/CGI/Perl/mySQL. In your bid please include a small proposal on what technologies you'll use and what requirements the system will have. Must do the following: I assume we'll need some type of DB to track Email/Password. Login function using Email and Password An account creation form that allows users to enter First/Last name, username, and Email and Password, must verify both via comparing fields (ie. type your password twice and make sure the required fields are filled out correctly). This registration creates an account and randomly generates a password. This password is automatically emailed to the user. A form for those who forgot their password. You enter your username and email address. It verifies all fields and randomly generates a new password, which is automatically emailed to the email address. The db or whatever is updated at that point. We also need some type of function that creates a cookie (or whatever) on the pages of my choice so that if you didn't log in, you can't just type a url and access the page. Should also have the option to remember user information for faster login. Since this is probably pretty simple and the code is probably everywhere on freeware sites I would expect this to not take very long at all. Please let me know your time estimates for completion as well as the technical requirements, such as what you'll use and need. Again, you are responsible for everything need to get this up and running. I have sample forms with the visual interface on it I will send you, but the whole backend is yours.
