I have been able to get a website ( [url removed, login to view] ) developed but recently found an issue that needs to be fixed before I launch onto the market.
The website was created so that users can purchase tickets for events and the ticket would be sent to their email. The ticket would be generated from information within the database and a readable barcode would be generated as part of the ticket, printed by the customer and then scanned and verified at the venue.
We have had successful testing of the barcodes on specific computers however the majority of the barcode seem blurred onscreen and this effects the barcode printing and hence readability by scanners. I have images of the same ticket using three different scenarios, one from a computer that allows effective printing the other with the barcode that has a slightly blurred image and lastly from a ticket that was saved as a pdf. (using an online PDF convertor) If you are interested I can send this to you.
What I need is for the barcodes generated on the tickets to be consistently generated properly on users screen (effectively allowing printers to print correctly).
The website backend is built using php and java. If you require further information, images etc I would be glad to assist in providing them for you.
