This project is about further development of the Jquery File Upload component [url removed, login to view]
Software is under MIT License which allows future development, use and resell. ([url removed, login to view])
Your code should keep references to the original author and licenses at all times.
This project aims to improve the component in two ways;
1. Add an image rotation button (one direction is sufficient)
2. Handle upload of same named files correctly
Actually very little (in my view) needed to achieve both objectives;
1. Add an image rotation button; this was straight forward, attached versions of the code has rotation button, and it actually rotates the image on the server side. However, rotated image does not gets updated on the frontend unless one reloads the page (which defies the entire idea of using AJAX). What I need from you is to rewrite the handler "rotate" to update the item in question. Currently it references a copy of destroy handler, which does nothing but actually rotates the image (as you can see after a page reload).
2. The tool as it is does not handle upload of another file with the same name correctly (again until the page is reloaded). A new entry created. What I would like to have is to get entire image list updated following an upload so that changes to existing files are reflected. The new handler should be usable for future development which might require complete refresh of the image list. Acceptance criteria is to end up with a single image "after" the upload. So it is not a requirement to update the image before upload (it is a plus if you think you can deliver this as well).
Code added by the developer should be inline with the existing programming logic and sufficiently documented. I will need to test and review the source code remotely or at my server before I confirm completion.
Please review the source code before bidding and only proceed if you clearly understand what needs to be done. You will need original source code download as attached files are only to show you my updates.
