I work with multiple small business clients on their internet marketing and I need an online platform developed that can track their rankings and progress. It takes up too much time to do this every other day! I need to be able to track their organic (Google, Yahoo, and Bing), as well as their local listing rankings (Google Places). It needs to be about 4 pages (main dashboard, projects page (to add new clients in), reports page (to generate reports), and an account page (showing basic user information and account status).
I've attached a couple of jpgs I did of the basic dashboard layout. I don't like the design.. it's just as a reference for the overall layout. Essentially, once clients were added in I would be able to select one from a drop down list, then choose "organic" or "local" to see the results. Local would automatically show once the client was selected. Overall ranking would show, as well as a + or - number to show improvement or drop for the selected keyword.
When adding the clients in, there would be no maximum number of keywords that can be tracked. Maybe even implementing an Excel upload capability for large lists found using the Keyword Tool or something.
I've attached a jpg of another example of some software that pulls local results. I like the layout of this for the main dashboard page. Simple graphics and excel type spreadsheet for results.
On the reports page, I want something that can automatically generate reports for each client added in. The reports will consist of keywords, ranking improvements or drops, and some sort of graph to show this visually. The user would be able to set these reports to daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly to auto generate and email to a specified address in pdf format.
The site will need to have login capabilities as well so other local marketers can use it to add in their own clients, etc.
Check out this link for a local ranking tracking platform. I like this setup and would like to model after this (besides the dashboard), but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I like how simple it is to add clients/reports in. I also like the "keywords in top 7" highlights.

Hopefully this makes sense.. It's basically a combination of Nifty Marketing's Map Tracker and Firefox's Rank Tracker.
Let me know if you have any questions!
