I need a script which will check if the port on an IP is allowing connections. There is a game called "Minecraft" that has privately hosted Multiplayer servers, and I need a script that will allow people to type in an IP and a Port (which is 25565 for the game by default) and it will let them check if the game server is online (or if the port is allowing connections).
It would be great if it could also be used in the URL with something like "www.xxxxx.com/server.php&ip=88.24.20.02&port=25565&on=www.image.com/online.png&off=[url removed, login to view]
^ Above where you could type the server Ip and port in the URL, also seperate images to use if the server is offline or online.
When a viewer loads the webpage with the server checker link, it will check if the game server (the IP and Port) are accepting connections, if so it will show the "online" image, if not it will show the "offline" image.
EXAMPLE SCRIPT:: (This is an example of exactly what I want, you can edit the URL to change stuff. This is also a PHP script)
Offline :[url removed, login to view];port=25565&on=&off=
Online: [url removed, login to view];port=25565&on=&off=
Where it says on=&off= you can put your own on/offline image links.
