I've got a website using Spry tabbed panels, with a contact form in one of the panels. I want it so when the user hits the submit button in the contact form a fancybox pops over the contact form saying thank you - well I've got the fancybox part worked out.. the problem is at the same time the fancybox pops up - the form is trying to redirect back to the homepage of the Spry tabbed panels (the root [url removed, login to view]). It has something to do with godaddy hosting and the fact that I have to use their [url removed, login to view] script to make the form work. The gdform script wants to redirect no matter what. SInce I'm using Spry tabbed panels, I have no page to redirect to because I want the user to stay at the spot in the panels (the contact page) where they were when they clicked on submit. Even if I could get it to redirect to the panel I'm on, it would defeat the purpose of my fancybox.
I tried removing all references to "landing page" in the [url removed, login to view] script and that didn't work - I tried calling godaddy and they made it sound like what I'm trying to do is not possible. Perhaps this is so.. but I figured it was worth asking for help.
The example of my dilemma can be found here:
[url removed, login to view]
You can see how the fancybox starts to work, but then the redirect kicks in. The script for gdform can be found numerous places online, or I can email it to you. Let me know if you can help!
