Transferring files between two servers

Hi,

I have 7 joomla websites that are copies of one main site. I host 6 of them on my goDaddy Dedicated server and one on MediaTemple DV.

All sites have the same content, so to save time I have developed a component that distributes info to other site so I don't need to enter them individually. I can just enter new info on main site and that saves into other site.

Everything works fine within goDaddy server, data and images transfers ok, but if I'd like to transfer same info to my site hosted on MediaTemple server it does not work. All data from database transfers except for images.

There may be some coding needed as far as opening connections between 2 servers and logging in.

I need some who have done this before, as this should be a quick fix.
