Upgrade video search site. Scripting/coding work

My site:

uses AOL Video Search REST API, a javascript file and php.

I need to have custom searches added in place of the categories at the top(cost, length, etc)

I want to replace those with keywords of my choosing, and I need a way to be able to update that whenever I need to.
